Did you know that Dubai Nexus is back with a new lineup for 2013?
posted: May 23rd, 2013 The NSL News mentioned yesterday that Dubai Nexus visited DeLand for a 1-week training camp. It ended on the meet weekend of the Florida Skydiving League, and the local FSL teams in the traditional 4way category had the opportunity to see the VFS 4way silver medalist of the Mondial Dubai 2012 in action. Dubai Nexus easily completed over a hundred jumps during the training week and provided some up-to-date footage for the NSL News. The NSL News also... (more)

Did you know that FournicaterZ got help from a Hottentotsgot at last weekend's meet?
posted: May 21st, 2013 Last weekend's Rookie Class leaderboard is showing only four teams of the Florida Skydiving League. Several of the competitors became 4way fans after participating at the monthly FSL Tunnel Kicker, where FSL indoor head coach Ari Perelman and his assistant coaches turn skydivers into 4way flyers and 4way flyers into competitors. In fact, the winner of last weekend's Rookie Class competition, Pyro4ic from Skydive City in Z-Hills, competed for the Florida... (more)

Did you know that DeLand Slide competed first time with the complete lineup?
posted: May 20th, 2013 The leaderboard of last weekend's meets is complete and shows 38 teams. France controls the AAA and AA part of it, while teams from the USA and the Czech Republic fill the A and Rookie Class rankings. One US team broke into the French AA Class rankings and took the 6th place of 15 teams. SDC Accelerando, with SDC Rhythm XP's player coach JaNette Lefkowitz, posted a 6.7 average at the new team's first meet. The A Class competition... (more)

Did you know that the Monaco team is down by two with a new name?
posted: May 19th, 2013 The first scores of the weekend are coming from France where the weather stopped the AAA Class teams after five rounds and the AA Class teams after four rounds. It was the first outdoor competition of the 2013 season in France. Several of the teams had already attended the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2013 before this weekend's outdoor competition in Mimizan. The French national 4way teams did not compete, however, some of the lineups included current and former members of the French national delegations. One Shot... (more)

Did you know that Skygod likes the indoor/outdoor combination?
posted: May 18th, 2013 The NSL News contributed with "Funny Feelings" to the April issue of Blue Skies Mag. The article was related to the beginning of the new competition season and the first meets that bring back the special atmosphere and feelings of a competitive environment. The 2013 season has long become reality, as the first major outdoor competition of the year, the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship with the annual Shamrock Showdown Skins Game, was successfully completed in March. The same counts for the first major indoor competition, the World Challenge in Bedford. The combination of the numbers and... (more)

Did you know that Escondido battles regularly with old friends from Portugal?
posted: May 17th, 2013 The next international meet weekend is coming up, with teams competing in France, the Czech Republic and the USA. Last weekend's leaderboard was dominated by UK teams, and the NSL News week was busy with updates from the United Kingdom accordingly. The attention to the UK teams guided the NSL News to a related topic and a team that did not compete last weekend. It's a team that has not caught much attention despite the fact that it is actually the longest standing one in the United Kingdom. The NSL News is now catching up with AAA Class team Escondido. Escondido was started by a group of... (more)
