Did you know that the DeLand Bees posted three 8-pointers at the DeLand 4way Scrambles?
posted: Jan 12th, 2014 The DeLand Bees appeared on the SKYLEAGUE.COM leaderboard for the first time in November 2012 when they posted a 3.2 average after five rounds at their first competition, the NSL Championship of SkyQuest Florida 2012. They tried to complete more competition rounds in 2013 but were held back by bad Florida weather in May when they traveled once again from Georgia to DeLand. The Bees came back a month later and finished with a 4.2 average after six rounds in June. posted: Jan 11th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News story on 7 January 2014 brought back the inaugural Shamrock Showdown in 2002, which has now turned into the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship with the Shamrock Showdown Skins Game. The story featured DeLand Majik and Arizona Airspeed Vertical and their competition videos of the event. Did you know that the first Arizona Airspeed vs. NMP-PCH Hayabusa 2014 showdown is coming next weekend?
posted: Jan 10th, 2014 It's been almost two years that Arizona Airspeed and NMP-PCH Hayabusa competed directly against each other at an indoor competition. It was at the World Challenge 2012 where the Belgian indoor experts outscored Airspeed by 14 points (304 - 290) and left the French national 4way team Aerodyne Aerokart 13 points behind. Did you know that registration is open for the World Challenge 2014?
posted: Jan 9th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News has covered the annual World Challenge indoor competition live from Bodyflight Bedford year by year since 2007. The event was launched by owner and passionate indoor flyer Paul Mayer in 2006 when 12 teams attended the inaugural event. Arizona Airspeed's Odyssey lineup of 2006 (Eliana Rodriguez, Craig Girard, Andy Delk, Brian Johnson) won easily by 27 points at the first event in Bedford and came back with Mark Kirkby in the Tail slot a year later. Did you know that Kaizen is challenging the Aerodyne French Girls?
posted: Jan 8th, 2014 The 4way fans in the United Kingdom must have come out in force to vote for Kaizen as the top team in 4way Women at the end of the year. The Sun Path Products NSL News story on 30 December 2013 mentioned that "UK teams in the female 4way category are used to competing for gold medals, and Kaizen might not even think about the 3rd place". Did you know that DeLand Majik was the first team to beat Arizona Airspeed Vertical?
posted: Jan 7th, 2014 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2014 is one of the earlier competitions this year and the smaller world meet version of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving that will follow in the summer of 2014 in the Czech Republic. The NSL-TV archives offer a closer look into the history of the event. The outdoor part of the current Paraclete XP meet package was launched as the Shamrock Showdown in 2002.
