posted: Sep 29th, 2014 The 8-way competition of the UK Nationals was scheduled for the weekend after the 4-way championship and was concluded after eight rounds.
No surprises were expected, as the national team Microclim8 has dominated the event in the United Kingdom since 2010. However, there were still a few occasions that deserved special attention. Did you know that three original Black Cat members won back the Russian 4-way title?
posted: Sep 28th, 2014 The Russian Nationals 2014 were completed last week in Tanay, Siberia, and produced a new 4-way champion. Black Cat won with a 21.6 average, and Russia's national 4-way team Barkli did not try to defend the title.
Only former Barkli member Sergey Shenin competed in 4-way and won the silver medals with Fly Station. Did you know that two Czech 4-way teams have attended ten meets this year?
posted: Sep 26th, 2014 Teams and competitors in the Czech Republic have quickly transitioned from the 2014 outdoor season to the new indoor winter season.
The FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 in Prostejov was the last relevant outdoor competition in the Czech Republic, and the first indoor competition took place only three weeks later.
In fact, it was the first national indoor championships that initiated the new Czech indoor season.

Did you know that Voodoo's UK lineup outscored the USPA lineup?
posted: Sep 25th, 2014 The AAA Class field at the UK Nationals 2014 included a new team - even though it was not really new. Voodoo had attended several national championships in Great Britain before (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013). However, Voodoo was the South African national 4-way team at those events and competed as a guest team.

Russia is the last country holding the national championships this week, while only the Northern California Skydiving League and the Florida Skydiving League have one more competition scheduled, their playoffs, before this year's NSL Championship in November. The 5th Dubai Cup will be last major event of the year.
