posted: May 28th, 2013 The Northern Plains Skydiving League launched its 2013 season with five teams at Skydive Twin Cities.
The weather did not allow the completion of all six planned rounds, except for one team. The Honey Badgers managed to go through all six Rookie Class sequences.
Two of the five teams came back from previous NPSL seasons, while the three new teams included two Rookie Class lineups.
Those Guys showed up for the first time at the last NPSL meet of the 2011 season and then missed only one of the four meets last year. (more)
Did you know that Czech team Zoonte attended two meets in two categories within a week?
posted: May 27th, 2013 The Czech Republic held two 4way meets within a week. The NSL News reported on 12 January 2013 that Prostejov has joined the Czech Republic Skydiving League as a host, and the first meet took place on May 18th.

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed has won five 4way gold medals in 20 years?
posted: May 26th, 2013 The NSL News has introduced many teams and team projects in the past. The longest standing team projects have naturally received the most attention.
The world champion of consistency and continuity is the reigning 4way world champion, Arizona Airspeed, and the 2013 season is the 20-year anniversary for the unique and extremely successful team project.

Did you know that the Tomscat Trophy connects DeLand Slide with Dutch teams?
posted: May 25th, 2013 The outdoor season opener for the teams in the Netherlands is coming up in less than three weeks, the Tomscat Trophy 2013.
The event is related to the same traumatic plane crash in Perris in 1992 that caused the death of Dan BC's team mate James Lane, who is also Caroline Layne's brother. The NSL News reported on 29 April 2013 that Caroline Layne has now picked up 4way competition with DeLand Slide.

Did you know that Thiago Gomes went back to his 4way roots at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013?
posted: May 24th, 2013 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 included a very special reunion that the NSL News has not covered yet.
Thiago Gomes, former SDC Rhythm XP Tail and new Point for Arizona Airspeed, was hanging out a lot with the Brazilian delegation in DeLand. Anima and Ladies first had made the long trip from Brazil to Florida, following the national team CTR Optimum's trail who attended the same competition in 2012.

Did you know that the Atmosfera G4 lineup has not changed since 2009?
posted: May 23rd, 2013 The NSL News introduced Portugal's national 4way team Atmosfera G4 the first time with the story on 4 March 2010. The 2010 season was the third year for Atmosfera G4 after a long break from 4way competition for teams from the small country in south western Europe.
The Atmosfera project was launched in 2007 by João Henriques, Jorge Grade, Luís Candeias, Luís Mamão and Jaime Faustino. Atmosfera G4 then attended an international competition for the first time in 2009, the World Challenge at Bodyflight Bedford.
