posted: Jul 22nd, 2014 On July 19, Skydive Elsinore hosted the final meet of the season for the Southern California Skydiving League. Teams in attendance included Elsinore GT, Perris Liquid, Perris Franz, 3 Jars and a Head, and How Did John Get So Lucky. The morning weather was unusual for a typical SoCal July meet day. High clouds with mysterious drops of precipitation were covering the Elsinore skies, allowing for teams to reach competition altitude, but not without some added elements. 3 Jars and a Head and How Did John Get So Lucky were captained by Tom and Tracy Bohm, respectively. The Bohms (Elsinore El Eminope... (more)

posted: Jul 20th, 2014 The second part of the Florida Skydiving League's Tunnel Kicker in July did not turn out to add a lot of points to iFLY Orlando's Indoor Cloud League account. Only the slightly different AA Class lineup (Gilles Dutrisac, James Hall, Sebastian Jimenez, Kurt Gaebel) was able to improve the previous score of 24 points (Hall Spence, James Hall, Sebastian Jimenez, Kurt Gaebel) by one single point. The Rookie AA Class lineup (Sarah Hernandez, Seth Claytor, Akio Flewelling, Keith Murray) was actually completing more formations within working... (more)

Did you know that France swept the AAA Class leaderboard last weekend with three national 4-way teams?
posted: Jul 18th, 2014 The new meet weekend has arrived, while the previous one turned out to be the busiest one of the 2014 season, with 64 teams using the same competition draw at five different locations. Last weekend's overall leaderboard is showing meets between two rounds in France and six rounds in the United Kingdom. Last but not least, the AAA Class leaderboard has now been adjusted, and not much changed at all after using the total number of points after Round 2 for the adjusted rankings. Only the French Air Force team from Nice and Lowabusa switched their slots with a 1-point difference. The Sun Path... (more)
