posted: Jun 1st, 2014 Florida Skydiving League competitors and participants of the NSL Tunnel Kicker went back to iFLY Orlando on May 28th trying to improve the scores for the Indoor Cloud League May sequences. iFLY Orlando was in 2nd place in May behind the Skydive Arena with the teams and competitors from the Czech Republic. It was a successful effort for the Florida group, as three lineups (AA - Rookie AAA - Rookie AA) collected enough points to take the top spot on the leaderboard away from the Skydive Arena. The teams of the Northern California Skydiving League came together for the second time this year, while the Northern Plains and Midwest leagues hosted their first 2014 meets. Attending the second meet this year may have given NCSL team Last Minute the advantage over the other Rookie Class teams. Last Minute had finished the NCSL season opener... (more)

posted: May 28th, 2014 The Northern California Skydiving League group at iFLY SF Bay was the last one to submit videos and scores for the Indoor Cloud League April sequences, and they were posted when the draw for May was already available. NCSL Director Lori Connor had her group perform the sequences at the end of April, which is the most important requirement to get them onto the ICL leaderboard, even if they are submitted later. The NCSL group also added a new highscore for one of the six sequences. Don Burnette, Baat Enosh, Deanna and Julius Frank outscored... (more)

Though the day dawned warm and sunny, Mother Nature toyed with the teams a bit with moderately high, gusty winds, which eventually calmed down enough for everyone’s comfort, and the seven teams across three classes were easily able to complete their competition jumps by late afternoon. Meet Director Krisanne Combs didn’t have to make the call to put all the competitors on a wind... (more)
