Did you know that each of the six FSL lineups posted scores for the Indoor Cloud League night at iFLY Orlando?
posted: May 14th, 2014 April was the first month this year where indoor and outdoor scores were supposed to be posted in turns at the meets in Florida. FSL teams and competitors collected Indoor Cloud League points for iFLY Orlando in April, however, the outdoor season opener was completely weathered out. This month, the indoor/outdoor combination gets the next opportunity, and the first part was successfully completed last night at iFLY Orlando. The Florida Skydiving League now follows up with the next attempt of getting 4way teams in and out of the jump planes... (more)

Did you know that Carolina Dynamic launched a promising 2014 season despite bad weather?
posted: May 13th, 2014 The season opener of the Southern California Skydiving League was seriously bothered by bad weather, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported yesterday. The Carolina Skydiving League followed up a week later and was not much luckier. Carolina Turbo XP hosted the meet on their home turf at Skydive Carolina in Chester, and Andrew Happick had similar weather news as Christy Frikken reported from Perris: "Saturday started with a slight weather delay due to low clouds. Did you know that bad weather interfered with SDC Rhythm XP's visit at the SCSL season opener?
posted: May 12th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 25 March 2014 that SDC Rhythm XP was planning to go west for the Southern California Skydiving League season opener at Perris Skydiving. The event actually took place, even though the weather forecast was not good at all, and the weather situation eventually did not turn not much different than the forecast. However, a handful of teams tried to beat the weather and completed up to two rounds on the SCSL meet weekend. Three of the four Rhythm members had slots as player coaches, and... (more)

posted: May 10th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News explained with the story on 12 February 2014 how the 2014 season would be a building year for the Formation Skydiving competition delegation from Dubai, guided by Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard. Eliana Rodriguez said that the original plans for the 2014 season had to be changed when it became clear that two members of the 8way lineup would not come back this year. That added to Khalid Abduljalil's broken arm that he has been recovering from. However, Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard followed... (more)

Did you know that the vision of live coverage is still alive?
posted: May 9th, 2014 Live event coverage has always been a part of the NSL vision how Formation Skydiving competitions should be presented to the general public, in the short term and in the long term. There have been other passionate event organizers who shared the vision. However, the necessary resources have never been available yet to present the sport the way it deserves it, with a few exceptions where skydiving competition was plugged into other larger events with larger budgets. The Sun Path Products NSL News has tried for years to get as close as possible to live coverage, with "NSL Reality TV" including... (more)

Did you know that Sarah Smith might complete a 7-year stretch of attendance at FAI/IPC world events this year?
posted: May 8th, 2014 It is nothing new that the female competitors in the United Kingdom have been playing a very strong role in 4way Formation Skydiving competition for many years. The scores on the combined leaderboard of the World Challenge 2014 provide more evidence that this has not changed. There is even the potential for an unprecedented situation in the United Kingdom this year. Two female lineups may represent the country at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving this year, if Satori decides to stay home after winning... (more)
