posted: Jul 16th, 2014 A total of 56 teams are currently ranked on last weekend's overall leaderboard, which is not complete yet. The Midwest Skydiving League had a busy meet at Chicagoland Skydiving, and the scores will be added soon.
Most of the teams competed at Langar in the United Kingdom (26) and in Maubeuge, France (26), and the Sun Path Products NSL News will soon follow up with additional information of those events. Two of the five meets last weekend were smaller ones of the Virginia Parachute Council at Skydive Suffolk and of the Carolina Skydiving League at Triangle Skydiving.

posted: Jul 15th, 2014 The Canadian indoor family team 4Astrophe, with original Evolution member and father Richard Bisson, his 13-year old son Yannick and 17-year old daughter Valerie, has caught the attention of the Sun Path Products NSL News several times after competing for the first time at the Canadian indoor championships of 2013 at SkyVenture Montreal.

Did you know that Venturi Maubeuge completed five 8-way rounds in France?
posted: Jul 14th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News provided a preview of last weekend's Coupe de France competition on Saturday. It turned out that the weather in Maubeuge was as bad as the forecast predicted, and the French teams got in the air only on Monday for a few rounds.
The last test for the national 4-way teams before the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 was only a 2-round meet, while Venturi Maubeuge was the only 8-way team with five completed... (more)

Sydney Owen Williams is in charge of events and marketing at Skydive Elsinore and has the Tail slot for Elsinore Horizon. Her team competed in the A Class last year and in the AA/Intermediate Class at the USPA Nationals.

Did you know that the pressure is on for the three French national teams this weekend?
posted: Jul 12th, 2014 This weekend's synchronized competitions of the international NSL Network include the second meet of the Coupe de France in Maubeuge and the third meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League in Langar.
The weather situation in the United Kingdom and France will not make it easier to run the meets, with 26 UK teams in Langar and 26 French teams in Maubeuge. A bad-weather front approaches Europe from the northern Atlantic, and the forecast for Maubeuge is not very promising for the weekend, while the teams in the United Kingdom seem to have a chance for a reasonable Saturday morning.

Did you know that Lithuania competes in 4-way Women for the first time in World Championship history?
posted: Jul 11th, 2014 There has never been a 4-way team from Lithuania in the female category at a World Championship of Formation Skydiving. The field of teams at this year's competition in the Czech Republic will include the SolarFlakes representing Lithuania in 4-way Women.
