Did you know that Sarah Smith might complete a 7-year stretch of attendance at FAI/IPC world events this year?
posted: May 8th, 2014 It is nothing new that the female competitors in the United Kingdom have been playing a very strong role in 4way Formation Skydiving competition for many years. The scores on the combined leaderboard of the World Challenge 2014 provide more evidence that this has not changed. There is even the potential for an unprecedented situation in the United Kingdom this year. Two female lineups may represent the country at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving this year, if Satori decides to stay home after winning... (more)

Did you know that Canada's family team 4Astrophe was back in Indoor Cloud League action with a highscore for April?
posted: May 6th, 2014 The April story of the Indoor Cloud League continues. SkyVenture Montreal submitted only a video and score for one of the six sequences, however, it was a good one. In fact, the 23-pointer is the highscore for the AA Class sequence of April (O,E,N,14) and it was posted by a team that has been a topic for the Sun Path Products NSL News quite a few times: 4Astrophe. The Canadian team caught the attention last year when Richard Bisson competed with his daughter Valerie and son Yannick at the Canadian Indoor Championship 2013. 4Astrophe traveled... (more)

Did you know that the Northwest Skydiving League is back on top of the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard?
posted: May 5th, 2014 The Indoor Cloud League competition began as a duel between the Florida Skydiving League at iFLY Orlando and the Northwest Skydiving League at iFLY Seattle. Both groups continued to dominate the leaderboards while other groups joined the project month by month. In fact, no other Indoor Cloud League group ever won the 1st or 2nd place since July 2012 until Jan Klapka's Czech Skydiving League group at the Skydive Arena changed that situation dramatically. The Czech group joined the Indoor Cloud League in July 2013 and moved up from last place... (more)

Did you know that the Bad Boys posted high indoor and outdoor scores?
posted: May 3rd, 2014 The outdoor season opener of the 4way teams in the Czech Republic did not turn out as it was planned to be like. Zoonte and CZ Ladies, the national team in the female 4way category, both could not attend due to health problems. However, four teams posted their first outdoor scores of the 2014 season, and a new Rookie Class team has joined the 4way community in the Czech Republic. The Czech national team in the Open Class, Bad Boys, started the 2014 season with a 14.2 average for an interesting competition draw in the AAA Class. Five of the six rounds had at least two blocks, and four had 6-point... (more)

Did you know that Olaf Biedermann turned from being the youngest German team member in 1993 to the senior position in 2014?
posted: May 2nd, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News brought one of the closest 4way competitions in the history of the sport to the attention of the audience last year, the German Nationals 2013. Paratec-Saar, the German national team of the past years, saved a 1-point advantage over the finish line in Round 10, after a fierce battle round by round with EADS. Neither of the two teams was able to win a round by more than a single point, and only a jump-off could have made it even more exciting. The EADS/Airbus story began after the World Meet 1999 in Australia when Daedalus (Dieter Kirsch, Christoph Aarns, Thomas... (more)
