posted: Aug 27th, 2014 Wednesday was an interesting day at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014.
The weather situation was matching the forecast, and there was no chance to get the jump planes in thr air until early afternoon. Then the weather changed, as is was expected, as well, and the front finally went through. The skies cleared, and there was nothing in the way of more competition - except of one obstacle: the wet grass runway.

posted: Aug 27th, 2014 The three top teams in 4-way Open at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 had a good reason to be happy with their performances after Round 1. It seems like they have already secured their medal positions and just don't know which one yet.
The only surprise might be the distance between NMP-PCH Hayabusa, Arizona Airspeed and Evolution to the other teams after only one round. Volt'R suffered two point deductions, however, even a 26-pointer would be too far away from a medal position. Russia's new Barkli... (more)

posted: Aug 26th, 2014 It was a little miracle that Round 1 of the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 was completed in Prostejov. Sun Path Products representative Chris Talbert, former 4-way and 8-way world class competitor with the Golden Knights, explains at the beginning of the new NSL Reality TV video clip what a surprise it was to see teams boarding the jump planes when he and Brian "BK" Krause, still reigning 8-way world champion, arrived at the drop zone.

posted: Aug 25th, 2014 The last day before the start of the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 went by with beautiful weather and was concluded with the competition draw after the opening ceremony.
It was once again a manual live draw by the judges in front of the teams and competitors. The atmosphere was stirred up a bit when Round 4 was drawn. The sequence did not get the 4-way teams too excited, however, the 8-way teams were showing some emotions.

posted: Aug 25th, 2014 It is only a few hours away from the competition draw for the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 in Prostejov, Czech Republic.
The teams are done with the last training jumps, and the next time the planes get in the air it will be for the scoring points. There have been quite a few changes in the lineups, and the Sun Path Products NSL News can cover at least a few of them.
