Did you know that it was a slow start of the second half at the World Challenge 2013?
posted: Apr 6th, 2013 The second day of the World Challenge 2013 began with another technically challenging 3-block sequence, a very different start compared to the super fast start of the first day. The NSL-TV coverage also changed procedures to accommodate all Top 10 teams at the beginning of the day. The a.team4way from Russia has been holding the 10th position most of the time so far and is in the flying chamber earlier than the other Top 10 teams. The NSL-TV camera was in the chamber earlier this time to include the second Russian team... (more)

Did you know that each competition category of the World Challenge 2013 has dominating leaders?
posted: Apr 5th, 2013 NMP-PCH Hayabusa seems to have enough of the close competition with Evolution in the first three rounds and finished the day with another performance from a different planet. The 3-point difference after Round 3 has turned into a 15-point lead all of a sudden. Evolution helped the Belgians quite a bit though. The Canadians lost three points and have now allowed the French 8way experts from Gavroches Maubeuge to catch up. The second half of the French national 8way team has shaken off Paraclete XP4 for the moment and moved closer to the 2nd place. The Qatar Tigers with player coach Luc Verstrepen... (more)

Did you know that the Fun Flag had a rough trip to Bedford?
posted: Apr 5th, 2013 The audience has probably noticed by now that the Fun Flag has made it to Bodyflight Bedford. It came from Canada where Evolution had taken it to after the Mondial 2012 in Dubai. It was no easy transition. Katie Woods reported yesterday that the flag got lost at customs and immigration. She even provided evidence for the very strange incident at the US/Canadian border and brought the original "Notification of Checked Baggage Inspection" issued by the Canadian Air Transport Security Transport. The agency tried to "protect you and your fellow passengers, and in accordance with Canadian security... (more)

Did you know that Round 3 videos feature the highscorers in other categories?
posted: Apr 5th, 2013 The first new NSL-TV clip features once again the top teams in 4way Open and 4way Women in Round 3. This time though, the NSL News did not leave the flying chamber after Aerokart Deep Blue completed the AAA Class rotation. It was time to take a closer look at the teams who delivered the amazing performances in Round 2. Raykipo's 50-pointer in Round 2 was probably the highest indoor score ever in the A Class. NSL-TV then captured the team's next round, which was the slowest one so far in this category. Then the NSL News staid on for the A Class competition where the second team from Finland... (more)

Did you know that 12-year young Kalle Pohjola posted the highest score for Round 1?
posted: Apr 5th, 2013 Round 2 has been completed, and the two family teams with the Grauwels brothers for Belgium and the Lemay brothers from Canada continue to outscore all other top teams at the World Challenge 2013. The Rhythm family with JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz is in the mix for the positions behind the two leaders. There are more family relations within the Top 10 teams. Brother Andrew Kharitonov and sister Katya Kharitonova are in 8th (SportLoto) and 9th (a.team4way) place. XL suffered five point deductions in Round 1 and is... (more)

Did you know that NSL TV features Round 1 in the AAA Open Class?
posted: Apr 5th, 2013 Round 1 is complete, and the NSL TV videos have been uploaded before the scores are posted. The video coverage of Round 1 features the last ten teams in the rotation, which may all be found at the top or close to the Top 10 positions on the leaderboard. It is the first action video of NMP-PCH Hayabusa after the Mondial 2012 where the Belgian team placed 2nd, one point behind Arizona Airspeed. Brothers Andy and David Grauwels, Roy Janssen and Dennis Praet have recovered from the dramatic finish in Dubai and delivered a flawless performance in Round 1. The scores will follow as soon as possible. more)
