News Article Did you know that Crazy Dragons defended the Czech Top 10 position in China successfully?
posted: Apr 24th, 2024 More other events took place while the Formation Skydiving competition world was following the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024. Next to the always ongoing Indoor Cloud League events, there was also the last indoor meet of the Czech Tunnel League's winter season on the competition agenda. As recently very usual, Czech national 4-way Open Class indoor and outdoor team Skywalkers Junior and national 4-way Junior team HF Chameleons battled out their friendly rivalry over the ten rounds, and the Chameleons won this time by three points. The two young Czech 4-way teams have faced each other eight times... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League features the highscores for February and March?
posted: Apr 23rd, 2024 The indoor competition winter season has come to an end after FAI/IPC's world championships or world cups since 2019. That was the first year when the International Skydiving Commission (ISC) of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale/World Air Sports Federation (FAI) switched the event dates from the fall to spring in Europe and the western hemisphere. FAI/ISC adopted indoor competition in 2014, after watching the success of other large indoor meets for many years. Between 2014 and 2018, it was not unusual that the FAI/ISC indoor events were scheduled on a date before the outdoor season... (more)
News Article Did you know that the 4-way Women duel between NFTO and XPG4 continued in China?
posted: Apr 22nd, 2024 The NSL News update after Round 8 in 4-way Women at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024 expected an exciting 2-round finish between NFTO and XPG4, even though the U.S. team had a 6-point lead over NFTO at that point in time. It was not difficult to assume that the British 4-way Women team would still throw the hat into the ring and try to take at least the 2nd place in this duel behind China. The team of the hosting nation had already left all other 4-way Women team in the dust at the end of the second meet day with a 16-point lead. In fact, China's female lineup were in 3rd place on the combined... (more)
News Article Did you know that China's 4-way Women team is in a historic position after Round 8?
posted: Apr 19th, 2024 The four rounds on the second day of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024 did not change anything on the top of the 4-way Open Class leaderboard, and the three medal contenders have settled in the positions that they were expected to finish in, according to the NSL Power Rankings. Arizona Airspeed claimed all ten 4-way Open Class highscores, and the French Aethers with substitute Pamela Lissajoux are 13 points ahead of the Qatar Tigers in 2nd place, who own the bronze medal position just as securely as Airspeed and Aethers in 1st and 2nd place. The Spanish full-time military CISM team Papea are... (more)
News Article Did you know that there is plenty of cross-attention between Europe, America and China?
posted: Apr 18th, 2024 While the best 4-way teams in the world follow up with four more rounds on Friday in China, recreational teams in Florida and Texas are getting ready for their upcoming outdoor events. The FAI Indoor World Cup 2024 will be concluded with the last two rounds on Saturday, the same day when teams and competitors at the two regional outdoor meets of the NSL 4-way Network jump from planes and use the synchronized NSL competition draw for the weekend. The conclusion of the Czech Tunnel League's winter season this week had to take place without the currently strongest Czech 4-way team, Crazy Dragons,... (more)
News Article Did you know that NSL Power Rankings offer potential indoor world cup surprises?
posted: Apr 17th, 2024 Time has come for the start of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024 in China, where the competition draw for the three 4-way events has been posted. The numbers and letters for the ten rounds are identical in 4-way Open, 4-way Women and 4-way VFS. The 4-way Junior category is not a part of this FAI/ISC event for the first time since 2016 when the Canadian Air Devils won the first 4-way Junior title at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2016. The competition in this category was put on a hold after only two countries had registered 4-way Junior teams for the 4th FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championship 2023. (more)
