Did you know that Lithuania had three teams at the World Challenge 2013?
posted: Jun 7th, 2013 The World Meet 1997 in Turkey was the first time that a team from Lithuania competed at a World Championship of Formation Skydiving. Sigitas Augustauskas, Vitalijus Janusauskas, Ugnius Pazusis and Valentinas Banelis, with Vidmantas Zube on camera, finished in 27th place with a 7.6 average.
15 years later, Magic 4 competed for Lithuania at the Mondial Dubai 2012 and finished with a 14.0 average in 23rd place. One of the team members competed at both events, Center Outside Sigitas Augustauskas.

posted: May 24th, 2013 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 included a very special reunion that the NSL News has not covered yet.
Thiago Gomes, former SDC Rhythm XP Tail and new Point for Arizona Airspeed, was hanging out a lot with the Brazilian delegation in DeLand. Anima and Ladies first had made the long trip from Brazil to Florida, following the national team CTR Optimum's trail who attended the same competition in 2012.

Did you know that the Atmosfera G4 lineup has not changed since 2009?
posted: May 23rd, 2013 The NSL News introduced Portugal's national 4way team Atmosfera G4 the first time with the story on 4 March 2010. The 2010 season was the third year for Atmosfera G4 after a long break from 4way competition for teams from the small country in south western Europe.
The Atmosfera project was launched in 2007 by João Henriques, Jorge Grade, Luís Candeias, Luís Mamão and Jaime Faustino. Atmosfera G4 then attended an international competition for the first time in 2009, the World Challenge at Bodyflight Bedford.

Did you know that the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship had an international AA Class competition?
posted: Apr 25th, 2013 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 included an AA Class competition, as well. Three teams signed up for this category and had a great competition over six rounds.
It was an international competition, as Pari-Passu was the second team from the Netherlands (Cool Runnings - AAA Class) who concluded a spring training camp in DeLand with the meet test at the end. Home team DeLand DeLand and Teiwaz represented the Florida Skydiving League.

posted: Apr 19th, 2013 There was only one team at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 that had never competed in the AAA Class before. The coolest team of the competition used the event to test the new waters and the new six blocks after a training camp with coach Solly Williams in DeLand.

Did you know that six points separated China and Denmark in Dubai and in DeLand?
posted: Apr 2nd, 2013 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 was once again the small version of a World Meet, with teams from ten different countries competing in DeLand.
One of several interesting battles at different parts of the leaderboard took place between China and the VAF Warriors from Denmark. The young team from China is still in DeLand for a long training camp that began shortly before the competition.
