posted Sep 6th, 2012 - Teams from Texas gathered for the third time this year on the August 25 weekend. Skydive Dallas was the host this time after Skydive Spaceland and Skydive San Marcos had their earlier meets in May and July.

It was also the third showdown between Spaceland Lite and Dallas Khaos XP in the AAA Class. Spaceland Lite, with Katrina Shows, Joseph Wood, Devon Shows Christina West and Cory Kossan on camera, AAA/Advanced Class gold medalist at the USPA Nationals 2011, won again, this time on Dallas Khaos XP home turf.

Dallas Khaos XP, silver medalist at last year's USPA Nationals in the AA/Intermediate Class, came back with exactly the same lineup this year and has been trying to catch up with Spaceland Lite's slightly different 2012 lineup.

Spaceland Lite had a clear upper (13.0 - 11.8) at the first meet in Spaceland. However, Dallas Khaos XP almost eliminated the difference completely (13.2 - 13.0) in July when both teams competed at Skydive San Marcos.

The third meet brought all teams to Skydive Dallas, and the home team was probably hopeful to win the first matchup between the two Texas top contenders in the AAA Class. It did not happen with a slow competition draw where all teams had to accept lower meet averages. Spaceland Lite defended the top spot in Texas successfully in Dallas, and the distance between the two teams is back to where it was in May.

Dallas Khaos XP has another opportunity to turn the table. The Dallas Super Cup is coming up on the September 22 weekend and concludes the 2012 season in Texas. Winning the Dallas Super Cup would surely pay back for Khaos XP, and Spaceland Lite will be well prepared for the next Texas challenge.
