Thunder at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2013

posted Feb 24th, 2013 - The scores of nine rounds at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2013 are now available, and the numbers for one of the faster sequences in Round 10 are still to come.

Nothing will change on the top of the leaderboard where the Top 3 teams have settled in the same rankings that they had after Round 2. Thunder will try again to outscore the French 8way experts of Gavroches Maubauge at the World Challenge 2013.

French 8way team captain Clement Martin Saint Leon has joined forces with his 8way team mates and passionate 4way fans for several years at the indoor meets. Thunder has not managed yet to get ahead of the French 8way experts who have another slow year in their main event. The next opportunity is coming up in Bedford.

New French national team in the female 4way category: Laurence Herve - Sophia Pecout - Christine Malnis - Perrine Sanchez

The teams in 3rd and 4th place are both female lineups, as the NSL News reported yesterday for the 2010 world champions of Aerokart Deep Blue. Aerodyne Feminin is the very simple team name for the new French national 4way team in the female category.

Team member Perrine Sanchez, Aerodyne Deep Blue Defender world champion at the Mondial Dubai 2012, said that her team has not found a new name yet. There is no Deep Blue member any longer in the new lineup, and the Defenders will most likely give up this name.

The NSL News reported a new French lineup in the female category on 14 January 2013, and the team now attended the first competition of the 2013 season. The French national team may not have a final name yet, however, the very first scores are impressive ones. France may catch up with the top level of the Golden Knights quicker than it may have been expected.
