Did You Know...

... that the Czech teams posted a new Indoor Cloud League record total at the Skydive Arena?

Jan Klapka with his wife Jirina Klapkova at the Skydive Arena
posted Mar 24th, 2014 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 15 March 2014 how some of the 4way teams in the Czech Republic were warming up for the World Challenge 2014 with the indoor meets at the Skydive Arena in Prague.

The March meet once again produced new record averages for several teams, including the ones who are registered for the indoor competition in Bedford.

Jan Klapka, league director in the Czech Republic and Bad Boyz Tail, said that he would follow up soon with the March scores for the Indoor Cloud League, and he did exactly that with a big bang. The total of 175 points is a new record in the young history of the Indoor Cloud League.

Previous record shattered: Florida December group at iFLY Orlando
The Florida Skydiving League December group at iFLY Orlando owned the previous record of 162 points. Four Czech teams now shattered the old highscore with a joint effort at the Skydive Arena last week.

The Bad Boyz matched Phoenix' 27-pointer in the AAA Class and outscored Florida's AA Class lineup by ten points (30 - 20). The Bad Boyz had finished their last 10-round competition on March 13th with an 18.6 average.

Zoonte was a Czech 4way team in the A Class last year and had neither attended an indoor competition yet nor participated in the Czech Indoor Cloud League events. Zoonte still made the Sun Path Products NSL News headlines several times after placing on the top of the international A Class leaderboards on different synchronized meet weekends.

1st place at ESL Championship 2013: Zoonte
Zoonte also won the A Class competition at the ESL Championship 2013 with a 13.8 average. It is not a big surprise that the Czech top team in this category outscored Florida by 12 points in the A Class.

It is even less a surprise that the HF Chicks, formerly known as the SDA Chicks, posted very impressive scores for the Rookie AAA and Rookie AA Class sequences. The new team, formed in December 2013, had posted a 26.5 average for the ten Rookie Class rounds on March 13th at the Skydive Arena.

Only two Accord members had some mercy for the other Indoor Cloud League groups and went a slower pace with two newer flyers and the AccordX lineup in the Rookie A Class. The complete Accord lineup competed in the AA Class at the 10-round March competition in Prague. Jan Klapka said that he is not done yet this month, as other Czech teams try to beat the current scores...
