Did You Know...

... that four teams are battling for the 2nd place in AAA/Open at the World Challenge?

Battle for the 2nd place: Gavroches from France
posted Apr 4th, 2014 - As usual, it is difficult to keep up with the pace at Bodyflight Bedford. Round 2 is almost complete, and the teams are getting ready for Round 3.

It is no surprise at all that NMP-PCH Hayabusa is six points ahead after Round 2. It would be a surprise if any other team were able to just win a single round. There is no competition for the Belgians at the World Challenge 2014 without Arizona Airspeed, and even the reigning world champions had a hard time challenging Hayabusa seriously at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2014.

However, there is a very hot race going for the 2nd place. XL, SportLoto, Volt'R and Gavroches are separated from each other by only two points. That's a very promising situstion after two rounds, and it will probably change round by round, as it has already happened. The French national team won Round 1 in this foursome, and SportLoto from Russia had the next highscore - behind Hayabusa, of course...BORDER=0 height=57 width=630

6 points ahead after Round 2: Aerodyne French Girls
The situation is very similar in 4way Women, where the Aerodyne French Girls are six points ahead of the Golden Knights after Round 2. Kaizen tied the US national team in Round 2 and continues to move closer to the top spots.

Kaizen has great internal UK competition and has to keep moving. Bodyflight Isis and Skydiva both have strong lineups with experienced competitors. They will try to make it as difficult as possible for Kaizen to keep the upper UK hand in 4way Women.

The Swedish national team Fire was ready to compete in Bedford before Center Inside Annica Carlsson had to cancel due to an injury. Center Outside Asah Helenius is now filling a slot for another team, and only ten teams compete in this category.
