posted Dec 2nd, 2014 - The competition action at the 5th Dubai International Parachuting Championship was over after the semifinal Round 9 in 4-way Open and 4-way Women.

The Sun Path Products NSL News concluded the Tuesday coverage with NSL Talk. It was perfect timing when all SDC Rhythm XP members came together for the conversation at a quiet spot away from the event action. The United Arab Emirates celebrate their 43rd anniversary today, and Skydive Dubai's event site was one big party all day long.

The timing was perfect since SDC Rhythm XP had just delivered one of their best jumps, not only of the 5th DIPC 2014. The 35-pointer in Round 9 was the second sole highscore for Rhythm in Dubai, and the US team is only one point behind NMP-PCH Hayabusa going into the final round.

There is a good chance that Rhythm might finish with a new team record average. Rhythm needs an 18-pointer to beat the team's standing 23.8 average of 2012. Round 10 has a slow sequence (11,1,10), and it will be a challenging task.

However, Rhythm is very happy with the performance in Dubai, and the score of Round 10 will not change this. The team has once again moved closer to the top level of 4-way competition in the world and gave the reigning world champions and the bronze medalists of Prostejov 2014 a good competition.

It is a promising end of the year, which will build confidence for a very important and challenging 2015 season. SDC Rhythm XP will have to defeat Arizona Airspeed at the USPA Nationals next year if they want to compete on home turf at the Mondial 2016 in Ottawa. This goal is not a secret any longer...
