Did You Know...

... that iFLY Orlando added ten points to the Indoor Cloud League account last night?

Northern California's ICL team at iFLY SF Bay
posted Mar 27th, 2015 - Lori Connor submitted the first Indoor Cloud League March videos from iFLY SF Bay earlier this week, and her Northern California Skydiving League group was one single point behind Florida's ICL team at iFLY Orlando.

The Florida group went back to iFLY Orlando last night and was able to add ten points to the ICL account. The distance to iFLY SF Bay is 11 points now, while the Czech teams in the Hurricane Factory are still far ahead in 1st place for the March sequences.

The Florida group had work to do in the A Class, where the first meeting at iFLY Orlando earlier this month generated only a 13-pointer. The group was now planning to focus on this sequence. However, only two lineups eventually took on the A Class sequence, and both outscored the lineup at the previous event (Sebastian Jimenez, James Hall, Gilles Dutrisac, Alison Bawden). DeLand Flashpoint (Alix Raymond, Steve Hubbard, Jim Prochaska, Jairo Garcia) improved their own 12-pointer to 15 last night. Sebastian Jimenez, Kurt Gaebel, Cathy Luo and Adam Money then followed up with the 16-pointer.

Robert Chromy was back in the AAA and AA Class lineup for iFLY Orlando. His extremely busy indoor and outdoor coaching schedule had not allowed him for a long a time to join Florida's Indoor Cloud League lineups.

However, he was once again working at iFLY Orlando on Thursday night, and his Teiwaz team mates (Kurt Gaebel, Gilles Dutrisac, Sebastian Jimenez) were able to drag him into the flying chamber later at night and after he had finished his long work shift. The Teiwaz lineup for the night improved the AAA and AA Class scores each by two points.

Last and not least, Florida's RR Class lineup for the night (Gilles Dutrisac, Dani Bridges, Alison Bawden, Michael Patterson) turned the previous 23-pointer for the March sequence into 26 points, which completed the addition of ten ICL points for iFLY Orlando.

Amer Kassas, Inside Center for Team Zeus from Skydive City, guided a Rookie Class lineup with three new Indoor Cloud League competitors through their first 4-way experiences at iFLY Orlando.

Stephanie Dorough and Brad Weinberg attended their first Tunnel Kicker mini skills camp an hour before the Indoor Cloud League event. New flyer Jo Brzezinski joined them later when it was time for the first Rookie Class sequence in the R Class.

Many of iFLY Orlando's Indoor Cloud League participants are also getting ready for the 2015 outdoor season. The Florida Skydiving League has scheduled the first competition for April 11th. DeLand Flashpoint already posted the team's first outdoor scores at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015.
