posted Jan 12th, 2013 - The 4way community in the Czech Republic keeps growing. Jan Klapka, founder of the Czech Republic Skydiving League, updated the NSL News with the latest scores of the first indoor competition of 2013 at the Sportflight Skydive Arena in Prague.

The total number of 12 teams at a 4way competition stands for the highest participation ever in the history of the sport in the Czech Republic - indoor and outdoor. Additional two teams competed in VFS 4way where Jan Klapka has created a Rookie Class category for the beginners in this event.

The field of 12 teams did not even include the national 4way team Lize who competed for the Czech Republic at the Mondial Dubai 2012. However, one Lize member, Jiri Jirman, filled an open slot for the Bad Boyz in the AAA Class competition.

World Cup 2009 in Prostejov

The participation will probably continue to grow this year, as there will be even more meets in a different region of the Czech Republic. The skydiving center in Prostejov, host of the World Cup 2009 and 2012, will also offer regional 4way meets this year and most likely draw additional teams who did not travel to the other meet locations in the past years.

Prostejov is bidding to become the host of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014. Another bid is coming from Germany, host of the World Meet 2006 in Gera and the World Cup 2011 in Saarlouis. Paratec-Saar's home dropzone would be the host for the World Meet 2014 if Germany wins the bidding procedure next month at the annual IPC meeting.

	Hvezdy at the ESL Championship 2012

The ranking order in the AAA Class this week was identical with the previous indoor competition in December.

Hvezdy, who won the bronze medals for the Czech Republic at the ESL Championship 2012, did not have any competition in the AA Class.

It was more interesting in the A Class competition where the new Soft 4way lineup outscored the three teams who came back from the December indoor competition. The same three teams improved their scoring level significantly, the Sky Walkers even more than Sky Vengeance and Best of Relative to take the 2nd place.

Rookie Class teams Impact and L Team keep pushing each other and increased their meet averages by two points. Impact has now taken back the top spot that L Team had after the December meet. Kill Bill and the Skydive Arena's Staff Team are also taking turns in winning the indoor VFS 4way meets.
