posted Oct 28th, 2012 - Sunday was a training and registration day at the USPA Nationals 2012. Most of the 4way and 8way teams took it easy in the morning and arrived later at the dropzone for a few training jumps.

It was very quiet when the NSL News arrived early in the morning, as the new NSL Reality TV clip shows. The same video then picks it back up a few hours later at the same spots and shows a completely different picture with a lot of training action.

The quiet morning was working well for a basket full of skydivers who got up early for a balloon jump. The blue Arizona skies shortly after the sunrise generate unique colors, and a balloon is usually a very colorful affair anyway. The jumpers did not need space suits and exited the balloon at only 5,000 feet...

The NSL News met Dan BC who fills a slot for Fastrax GIII. John Hart III got injured last month and cannot attend the USPA Nationals this year. Dan BC was available and provided a quick update,

Arizona Airspeed showed up later and made a few warmup jumps. Team videographer Bill Schmitz gave a quick overview while his team was on the creepers. Airspeed attended only one outdoor competition this year at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012, which was long ago in March, and the top contender does not face much competition on home turf in Eloy. Airspeed is not too happy about the lack of serious competition practice.

Aerodyne's NSL supporter Bill Legard is an active competitor and is registered for the 8way and 16way meets. He was fixing equipment when the NSL News caught up with him...
