Accuracy team jumping was happening at the same time and is the backdrop for the Dubai Morning Show. VFS 4way and 8way competition was on the FS agenda in the morning, and the 4way teams were called to Tent City for an 11 AM presence.

The situation in VFS 4way is very interesting. The adjusted leaderboard with the point deductions is scattered with penalties, and the cleanest performance of the French reigning world champions begins to show results. Team4speed is slowly catching up with Dubai Nexus. The home team was up by six points after Round 2, and the lead is down to two points after Round 4. SDC Standard XP is on the same pace as the two teams in 1st and 2nd place and has lost the highest number of points. The distance to the gold medal position is now eight points.

The current standing in VFS 4way has other implications, as well. Team4speed may be able to avoid the US sweep by defending the gold medals of 2010. It would also at least increase the French chances to repeat the complete sweep in Formation Skydiving competition, which seems to be extremely difficult this year.

On the other side, the potential US sweep seems to have become almost impossible with SDC Standard XP eight points behind the gold medal position. It is not only Dubai Nexus in 1st place who have to make enough mistakes for the US team to come back. There is also Team4speed six points ahead of Standard, and the French team is not making many mistakes.

Other than that, Evolution has the 4th place guaranteed, and Germany will be the last team making the cut for the semifinals.
