Did You Know...

... that Tuesday is make-or-break day not only for the Dubai home teams?

Two points behind the gold medal: Dubai Nexus
posted Dec 4th, 2012 - It's a Tuesday morning show with Rob Kendall at the Mondial 2012 this time. He has been following all events in Dubai and provided a quick summary. Joey Jones arrived later and had to go to work with his Swedish team Fire who is charging for the 6th place and a slot in the finals in the female 4way category.

The new round of NSL-TV features all VFS 4way teams in Round 4. That was the time when Dubai Nexus still had the first place in this event. Team4speed finally took back the gold medal position in Round 6, and the adjusted leaderboard shows that the penalty situation plays a big role in the VFS 4way battle.

The race is still close enough for the home team to come back and win the first gold medal in history for the United Arab Emirates. The VFS 4way teams will complete two rounds this morning, together with the 8way teams.

Safely in 9th place: Dubai Asaar's 8way lineup
Tuesday is the make-or-break day with Rounds 7 and 8 in all FS events on the agenda. The best ten teams will move into the semifinals in each category. Dubai's home team in the 4way Open Class, Asaar Red, is doing very well considering the team's performance level at the previous meets this year. However, the Open Class field is too strong for the new and young lineup to make it into the semifinals. Dubai Asaar Red is currently in 14th place and 12 points behind the semifinal slot.

The Dubai Asaar 8way lineup is in a much better position. The team is jumping without any player coach for the first time at a competition and is holding the 9th place safely. The Brit Chicks are in 6th place, which is the last slot for the finals, and both teams are separated by only four points. Today's two rounds will show how close Dubai Asaar will be and what it will take in Round 9 to make the finals.

Last not least, the semifinals are almost out of reach now for the amazing Dubai Asaar Ladies. China's very strong Round 6 has created a 6-point difference at the moment. However, nothing is impossible in Dubai...
