Did You Know...

... that Dubai Nexus posted the highest VFS 4way average in history?

Dubai Nexus exit in Round 8
posted Dec 5th, 2013 - The VFS 4way competition was the first Formation Skydiving event at the 4th Dubai International Parachuting Championship 2013 that came to a conclusion. The three teams completed their eight meet rounds today and are off for the remainder of the week.

It was supposed to be another showdown between the French Team4speed world champions of 2012 with their new lineup and home team Dubai Nexus. It did not turn out to be a showdown, as Nexus just ran away from Team4speed from the beginning to the end.

The situation was already the same when the Sun Path Products NSL News had a conversation with French coach Philippe Schorno and Team4speed member Julien Guiho after Round 5. The remaining three rounds only confirmed the growing distance between both teams.

Dubai Nexus celebration after Round 8
Dubai Nexus defeated Team4speed for the first time at the World Cup 2013 and won the first gold medals for the United Arab Emirates. The difference was nine points in August this year.

Nexus then traveled to Skydive Chicago for the USPA Nationals 2013, as did the French national VFS 4way team. Arizona Arsenal was trying to defend the US home turf and qualified as the new US national team, while Dubai Nexus and Team4speed had their second 2013 outdoor battle. The difference at Skydive Chicago was down to seven points with the same outcome. Dubai Nexus was still the stronger team.

The results at the 4th DIPC 2013 were devastating for the French team. Dubai Nexus finished 27 points ahead of Team4speed with the highest meet average (26.4) in VFS history. Even the previous Team4speed lineup at its best was not even close to the Nexus performance level this week. There is a lot of work ahead for the French team, while Nexus can celebrate...
