Did You Know...

... that NSL-TV features NMP-PCH Hayabusa 5.0 in 2012 and 2014?

NMP-PCH Hayabusa with Jeroen Nollet at the ESL Championship 2012
posted Nov 4th, 2014 - The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 13 October 2014 that Roy Janssen has left NMP-PCH Hayabusa after winning the gold medals in Prostejov. The story on 20 October 2014 followed up with a perspective from the team's current situation.

The second story mentioned that new tail Jeroen "Bob" Nollet has been an active alternate since 2010. He even competed with the same four returning members (Dennis Praet, Andy and David Grauwels, Danny Jacobs on camera) at the ESL Championship 2012 where Hayabusa won after a jump-off with Thunder.

Andy Grauwels found the video footage of the first ten competition jumps with the complete new lineup, and the audience now has the opportunity to see Jeroen Nollet in action in the slot that he will own for at least the next two years.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa 5.0 with Jeroen Nollet in 2014
NMP-PCH Hayabusa had finished with a 21.3 average after ten rounds in 2012, when Jeroen Nollet was only trained as an alternate. He is now in full training with the team, and Andy Grauwels also provided footage of a recent training camp in Empuriabrava, Spain.

He calls the new lineup Hayabusa 5.0 since Jeroen Nollet is the 5th new member for the same three original team members. Sven Ibens (1) was the center inside when Hayabusa was formed. Luc Verstrepen (2) took his slot when Hayabusa decided to become a full time team in the Belgian military.

Waedong So (3) became the new point when Luc Verstrepen left, and Dennis Praet (4) replaced him in the same slot in 2011. Jeroen Nollet is the 5th Hayabusa member who trains and competes with the Grauwels brothers Andy and David. It is also the 5th change of the lineup, including team videographer Danny Jacobs replacing Bruno Van Den Eede.

Recent training in Empuriabrava
The video clip is a colorful summary of the first training camp with the new team member. Andy Grauwels said that Hayabusa 5.0 made 70 training jumps and spent another 30 minutes in the wind tunnel in Empuriabrava.

He said that "everything is looking very promising, as Jeroen is progressing very fast. The first training camp gave him the chance to see all exits and understand our dynamics of the blocks." Hayabusa 5.0 also did some fun jumps, as the video clip shows. Andy Grauwels and his team mates believe that it is important for a team to relax and laugh.

Hayabusa 5.0 is back in Belgium by now and will only add training time in the wind tunnel. Then the new world champions will get ready for the trip to Dubai and the 5th DIPC with Jeroen Nollet in the tail slot.
