Did You Know...

... that Amanda Lampton's Indoor Cloud League group in Texas posted a new iFLY Dallas record total?

Czech Rookie Class team Flying Circus
posted Feb 3rd, 2015 - Videos and scores from Texas (iFLY Dallas) and Northern California (iFLY SF Bay) were the latest updates for the Indoor Cloud League sequences of January.

Nobody could get even close to the Czech teams last month, who posted a new ICL record total with 189 points. However, both US and iFLY groups managed to steal at least one of the highscores.

Amanda Lampton's Texas group at iFLY Dallas first beat the previously posted 27-pointer by Czech Rookie Class team Flying Circus by a single point. Dallas 350 members Scott Levy and Lucas King guided Roch Tofil and Debbie Swenson as player coaches to the 28-pointer, which was the highscore for January's RR Class sequence (M,B,D) for a day.

The new highscore for the RR Class sequence lasted only for a day and until Lori Connor submitted her Northern California Skydiving League scores and videos from iFLY SF Bay.

Two player coaches, Don Burnette and Julius Frank, did the same at iFLY SF Bay what Scott Levy and Lucas King had done in Dallas. They helped Michelle Hart and Kiran Shivaram to add another point to the same RR Class sequence, which had finally a 29-pointer on the ICL leaderboard for January.

The Texas group's 113 points is a new record total for iFLY Dallas and only the second time that Amanda Lampton's group scored higher than 100 points.

Amanda Lampton said that her group continues "to pick up steam" and that she may have to schedule additional Indoor Cloud League events.

The Dallas Khaos bronze medalist in the Advanced Class of the USPA Nationals 2014 had her own lineups as a player coach in January. She was flying with Joe Carder, Joe Osborn and Mike Brown in one group and also with player coach Karen Bilder, plus Frank Sanchez and Ryan Leeper in a second lineup.

Dallas 350 member Lucas King was the biggest scorer for iFLY Dallas in January. He also added the 21-pointer with his R Class lineup (Karen Bilder, Eyas Abu-Alhaj, Alex Veguilla) to the Texas total, plus the 15-pointer in the RRR Class (Lucas King, Scott Kucel, Bill Schmitt, John Schmitt). Then he scored with the other coaches in the AAA and AA categories. Paul McEnany, John Cotney, Blake Bellman, Genifer Oliver posted the 17-pointer for the A Class sequence without any player coaches.
