posted Feb 2nd, 2022 - The NSL News reported on 27 December 2021 that the new 4-way Women outdoor world champions, Bubbles, won the national indoor championships, as well, and followed up with more details on January 11th.

The incredible plane crash and recovery story of Airborne VDV member Georgy Miroshnichenko included more information of Russia's top 4-way teams, and the impressive move by the Bubbles to the world's top position in 4-way Women was published just a few days ago.

The same three teams, Bubbles, Airborne VDV, IFS-Moscow, will also be a part of the Russia 4-way delegation at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 in Charleroi, Belgium, this April. In fact, the five teams in the five top spots at the Russian Indoor Nationals 2021 are planning to compete for Russia at the event.

Bubbles will compete in 4-way Women, which allows an additional 4-way Open Class team from Russia to join the delegation. Airborne VDV and IFS-Moscow get their re-match with Bubbles, even though their scores will be posted on different AAA Class leaderboards.

It is a very strong 4-way delegation that will compete for Russia in Charleroi. Bubbles are the top contender in 4-way Women. The NSL News mentioned earlier that they finished actually in 4th place of all 4-way teams in the world of indoor competition last year.

However, Airborne VDV and IFS-Moscow both have shown their potential of the same performance and scoring level in the past, and both teams are in full training swing with their preparations for the indoor world cup. They are also planning to attend one more test meet in March, and the scores will indicate the most current situation.

Airborne VDV have a 31.5 average at the Russian Indoor Cup 2021 in the team records, posted before Georgy Miroshnichenko's tragic accident in Tanay before the outdoor world meet. IFS-Moscow won the Russian Indoor Nationals 2020 with a 30.8 average, ahead of Bubbles and Airborne VDV.

The results at the last Russian Indoor Nationals in November 2021 could be misleading, and Airborne VDV and IFS-Moscow will be eager and well prepared to challenge Bubbles on the other leaderboard for 4-way Women.

The other two Russian 4-way Open Class teams will have their own re-match situation in Charleroi. They had the closest battle of all teams on the 4-way AAA Class leaderboard at the Russian Indoor Nationals.

One single point separated Quartet in 4th place and DanDelion WN in 5th place, both teams with 23+ averages after the ten rounds. They will not be able to interfere with the internal Russian competition on the top of the 4-way AAA Class leaderboards. However, they will have their own exciting re-match somewhere else in the international 4-way field.

Both teams consist of lineups with three female and one male competitors, which makes this Russian 4-way duel even more interesting. The Russian 4-way senior delegation at the indoor world cup will be split exactly in half between female and male 4-way competitors. Bubbles and the six female team members of Quartet and DanDelion WN together match the ten male 4-way competitors in Airborne VDV, IFS-Moscow and the other two teams.

There will also be eight more 4-way competitors in the Russian delegation who the NSL News will introduce later.
