posted Nov 18th, 2010 - The NSL News reported on 27 October 2010 that Petra van Overveld is the new Point for the German national 4-way team in the female category, ISB Air. The same story mentioned that the new member would still attend a training camp and the 4-way competition with her current team at the NSL Championship 2010.

Team Skytrax is an international lineup that has trained with player coach Sven Ibens, former Hayabusa member from Belgium, at camps in Europe. Solly Williams is the player coach when the team trains in Florida.

Thew NSL News had introduced Skytrax with the story on 29 January 2010 when the team had a winter camp in DeLand. The NSL News now followed up with a live NSL Talk to learn more about the team members' motivation and goals.

NSL Talk with the international 4-way team Skytrax

The connection of team introduction in January 2010 and Petra van Overveld's future with ISB Air was a coincidence. However, the NSL News had now even more reasons to invite the team to the NSL office.

Of course, it was interesting to listen to the new ISB Air member and the team's plans. It was also an opportunity for a preview of the team's performance at the 4-way competition at SkyQuest 2010, which begins on Friday afternoon.

Skytrax videographer Kjeld van Druten provided a video with clips of the current 4-way training in DeLand and also with a few clips of the training with Sven Ibens. NSL-TV will soon follow up with Skytrax competition jumps when the NSL Championship is concluded, or even earlier.

Skytrax training jumps in November 2010

The Skytrax members from five different countries (Norway, Netherlands, Germany/Netherlands, USA, plus Sven Ibens from Belgium) introduce themselves and talk about their reasons for joining an international lineup.

Paul Hofstee, member of the former Dutch national 4-way team, Dynamic Fource, has pursued his own ideas of 4-way team training for many years and provides more information in this NSL Talk session.

He put together some of the first player coach lineups in the history of the sport to get the chance to learn faster and more efficiently. He also believes that teams should not be limited to members of the same nation only. His passion for 4-way competition has shown for many years when he was sometimes training and competing in more than only one team. Skytrax scores will be posted soon, and the three ISB Air members in Germany will have the opportunity to see their new Point in outdoor action. The complete new lineup has already completed a few indoor camps.
