Did You Know...

... that only NMP-PCH Hayabusa mastered Round 5 with a 20-pointer?

Out of time: Airspeed's second Monopod
posted Jan 9th, 2011 - The leaderboard at the Dubai Championship 2011 is obviously up-to-date now. Judges and host took care of this first thing in the morning.

In the meantime, the teams have completed Rounds 5 and 6, and the unofficial scores of the three top teams are available. Arizona Airspeed also uploaded the videos of the last two rounds.

The video of Round 5 shows the slowest sequence of the competition. Only one of the three top teams managed to keep the score at 20 points. Craig Girard reported that NMP-PCH Hayabusa completed the second Monopod of Block 4 just at the end of the working time.

On track to unofficial 20-point membership: NMP-PCH Hayabusa in Dubai 2011
The Belgian national team with the new Point Dennis Praet in the lineup is the only team left in Dubai with scores of 20 points or higher for each round, and it seems as this may continue with the three remaining faster rounds.

This would bring Hayabusa the overdue membership in the 20-point elite club that the NSL News has reported on in the past. It would be the first meet for the Belgians to make it through a whole meet on this level. However, this is only an 8-round meet, and the membership would only be "unofficial"...

The NSL News is working on the Hayabusa videos of Rounds 3 and 4, which will be posted next. Stay tuned.
