posted Jan 10th, 2011 - Most of the feedback and visuals of the Dubai Championship 2011 have come from Arizona Airspeed and NMP-PCH Hayabusa so far. It is about time to take a closer look at the French videos, as well.

Rob "Dutch" Kendall, CYPRES representative in Dubai, worked together with the French videographers to make meet videos available for the audience. The NSL News begins with featuring the new French Aerodyne Aerokart lineup, who are currently tied in 1st place with NMP-PCH Hayabusa.

Three reigning 4-way world champions and new member Emmanuel "Manu" Sarrazin try to continue where they finished off in 2010 - on the top of the 4-way world. The new Belgian lineup with Dennis Praet has been the toughest opponent in Dubai. Videos of the Belgian team have shown him in action, and more will follow soon.

The situation for Dennis Praet may be a little bit easier since he is in the Point slot, and the two Hayabusa veterans in the center, brothers David (Center Inside) and Andy Grauwels (Center Outside), are in charge to make it as easy as possible for him to plug in.

The situation for Manu Sarrazin is different. He is doing the Center Inside work together with center partner Julien Degen and has to fill the big world champion shoes of Jeremie Rollett. He has had a center slot with the French B-Teams that he trained and competed with in the past years. However, the world champion pace is still different.

4-way coach Marin Ferre has him well prepared for the 4-way job after six years on top of the world in 8-way, as the results in Dubai prove. Now he has to defend the French 4-way gold medals and win in 8-way, as well. New national coach Jeremie Rollett must be happy so far, as the 4-way challenge is probably tougher than in 8-way.

... and in Block 4 sub-terminal action

NMP-PCH Hayabusa shows this week what the team has to offer. The race between the "two new kids on the block" will last for at least two years, and it will be interesting to see who will eventually have the upper hand - talent or experience...

Of course, a 4-way or 8-way world champion needs both, but the approach is obviously different on both sides. Then there is the new Airspeed lineup, which is in training while the old one is on 4-way vacation with John Eagle in Dubai. The NSL News will try get some feedback from Arizona. No doubt that the same sequences will soon be copied in Eloy...

Russia and Canada have not announed their plans for the near 4-way future yet, and there could be additional pressure for the three top contenders. First of all, there is another round in 4-way to be completed, and the $20,000 can still go to France, Belgium or the USA.
