Did You Know...

... that the Paraclete XP4 Day is in full outdoor swing?

Cold morning at the Raeford Parachute Center
posted Jan 20th, 2011 - It is a cold morning at the Paraclete XP4 outdoor headquarters on the Raeford Parachute Center. It will be a significant difference as of weather and logistics for John Eagle who just returned from Dubai after competing with Arizona Airspeed at the Dubai Championship 2011.

The NSL News is live on site in Raeford to spend a day with XP4, one of the 4-way top contenders in the USA this year. The NSL News is not only interested in the Dubai feedback that John Eagle will hopefully share later with the audience. XP4 goes into the second 4-way year with the same team members and is expected to compete for the USPA gold medals this year.

The first jump this morning was the first one with the new slots. John Eagle has gone back to Point and has John D'Annunzio in his front piece as the Center Outside. Kirk Verner has taken the driver's seat, Andy Honigbaum is in the Tail slot.

Debriefing after the first four jumps
The NSL News is planning to find time with XP4 for a new session of NSL Talk. Videos of the outdoor jumps will hopefully be uploaded before the team will move from the dropzone to the wind tunnel in the afternoon.

Kirk Verner agreed that his team will then have its own ghost meet and copy the Dubai competition draw. It will be interesting to see if XP4 will be able to beat the best outdoor scores in Dubai in the wind tunnel at the very beginning of the training.

The training session began with the first load at approx. 10 am this morning. XP4 just landed from the 4th jump from 7,000 feet. There is a short break now, and the NSL News will upload a few of the first four jumps.
