Did You Know...

... that Team Fastrax was very close to a new world record?

posted Jul 4th, 2007 - The scores for Round 2 have already been posted for a while, and no team was obviously able to beat Black Cat's 44-pointer, the current world record for a single round. The videos of the meet's fastest sequence have now been uploaded, and the scores of the third round will be posted next.

Team Fastrax after Round 2
Team Fastrax came very close to set a new world record. Fastrax completed 44 points within working time and lost one point in the judging room. The 43-pointer was the highscore for the round.

The Fastrax members knew that they had a good jump when they landed. It was a very different situation this year after the fastest sequence of the competition. Fastrax had finished the Malevsky Cup 2006 with a meltdown in Round 10 and fell far behind Black Cat and France.

This time, Fastrax posted the highscore for the speed round and will gain confidence for similar sequences in the future. Last year's highscorer, Black Cat, was in the Fastrax situation today and lost six points to Fastrax in this one round.
