Did You Know...

... that the first round of the SSL April meet is now on NSL-TV?

posted May 4th, 2005 - The NSL-TV has now begun to upload the first video files of the April meet of the Southwest Skydiving League. It was the third SSL competition in 2005, and it was hosted once again by Skydive Arizona in Eloy. It was also the second time this year that both Airspeed line-ups competed on their home turf.
Airspeed Velocity's round one - see video
The SSL April meet coincided with the second competition of the Florida Skydiving League 2005 season in Lake Wales. The NSL-TV coverage of the FSL meet is already at the second round. NSL-TV will probably put the FSL teams on a hold and let the SSL teams catch up, so that viewers can compare the jumps directly and at the same time.

Unfortunately, the quality of the SSL footage is really not very convincing. NSL-TV tried very hard to increase the quality as much as possible. However, portions of some jumps are still hardly presentable. NSL-TV yet decided to upload the files to give the viewers at least the chance to get an idea of the jumps.

Arizona Divewerkz' round one - see video
The good news is the fact that Airspeed Velocity's jumps are relatively of better quality, as well as Arizona Divewerkz' footage. Airspeed Velocity finished this competition with a 22.8 average after six rounds, and trying to see as much of the jumps as possible is well worth the effort.

Arizona Divewerkz won the AA Class competition that weekend with a 12.2 meet average and has taken the clear lead in the rankings of the AA Class 2005. AZ Divewerkz began the 2005 season with a 9.5 average in February and has already become one of the top contenders in the AA Class with the results of the SSL April meet. The NSL News will introduce Arizona Divewerkz with a team profile tomorrow.

NSL-TV apologizes for the poor quality of this event's coverage. One of the bigger NSL goals for the near future is the improvement of the NSL-TV quality, and it is in the works. Results of the efforts will be seen very soon. However, tips and help is always greatly appreciated. Enjoy the show.
