posted: May 23rd, 2010 This weekend's leaderboard, the first one with several meets happening at the same time, has the scores of 36 teams so far. The results of the meets in the Mideast and Carolina are still to come. The United Kingdom provided the most scores with a total of 26 teams. The NSL News traveled to Skydive Twin Cities to cover the season opener of the Northern Plains Skydiving League. News Article Did you know that Sandy Grillet had new record participation in the Northern Plains?
posted: Jul 10th, 2009 The new scores of the Northern Plains Skydiving League have now completed last weekend's leaderboard. Great news came from Skydive Twin Cities, as the eleven NPSL teams set a new participation record for the Northern Plains. NPSL Director Sandy Grillet had recorded two meets with ten teams in the past, the first one in July 2007, the second one in July 2008. July 2009 brought the new record number of 4-way teams to the NPSL meet last weekend. posted: May 5th, 2009 New meet dates have recently been added to the NSL Calendar of Events for the 2009 season. There are currently 90 4-way competitions posted, and the 2009 schedule is not even complete yet. Some of the latest meet dates came from the Northern Plains Skydiving League. While Nick "Junior" Grillet just completed his first meet with his new team Elsinore BTE at the season opener of the California Skydiving League in Elsinore, his father Sandy Grillet posted the 2009 schedule of the Northern Plains Skydiving League and invited the skydivers of the region to attend the meets. posted: May 15th, 2008 The Northern Plains Skydiving League launched its 2008 season last weekend. At least, NPSL Director Sandy Grillet tried everything he could to get the NPSL 2008 season started. The weather forecast was not very promising for the region, and a few teams decided not even to try. The weather lived up to the bad expectations. However, six teams still made it to Skydive Iowa and all managed to complete one round, two teams even two rounds. News Article Did you know that Slipstream launches a new team project in the Northern Plans?
posted: Apr 7th, 2008 A new team project, Slipstream, has been launched in the Northern Plains Skydiving League. The team members are familiar names from the last seven years in the NPSL. Steve Blake (Point), Aaron Hislop (Center Inside), Jon Arnold (Tail), Bill Rehm (Center Outside) and Rich Barr (Camera) are combining for over 12,000 skydives and 75 years of experience and plan for a fun and productive 4-way season. The team's goals are to take a combination of very compatible and talented skydivers from the NPSL area and push the local limits of 4-way throughout the NPSL 2008 season - ending with the USPA Nationals...
